This year’s must-try spring cocktail
Spring is in the air
Spring is in the air, and there’s no better way to celebrate than a glass filled with the natural bold, fresh flavours of Bombay Bramble.
Bursting with ripe fruit and beautiful botanicals, Bombay Sapphire’s delicious blackberry and raspberry infused gin is pure springtime in a bottle.
The ruby-hued spirit is the essential ingredient for the new season’s signature drinks. Inspired by the classic berry-flavoured Bramble cocktail, Bombay Bramble is made for creativity. It’s perfect for mixing, experimenting, and discovering your own menu of mouthwatering cocktail favourites to sip throughout spring.
Distinctly different
From the start, Bombay Sapphire’s gin craftsmen and women set out to create a flavoured gin that stands apart from all others. Bombay Bramble is their new and innovative way to express the Bombay Sapphire philosophy of creativity.
It begins with the finest quality ingredients and unique, time- honoured craftsmanship that define every Bombay Sapphire premium gin.
Unlike many other flavoured gins, Bombay Bramble is made with one hundred percent natural ingredients – no artificial flavours, colours or added sugar.
Bombay Bramble’s rich colour and full fruit flavours derive entirely from blackberries and raspberries grown in France and freshly harvested at peak ripeness to capture their most intense essence.
The berries are used to create a rich fruit infusion, which is then married with BombayDry vapour-distilled gin. In vapour distilling precious botanicals gently infuse the heated spirit vapours with their aromatic flavours. It’s a process that allows ultimate refinement and balance in the gin.
Bombay Bramble’s unique process also allows the gin’s botanical and juniper profile to shine through, delivering a sophisticated taste that delights discerning gin drinkers.
Thanks to those all-natural ingredients, Bombay Bramble’s flavour profile is a perfect creative canvas for cocktails. While other artificially sweetened flavoured gins can clash or overpower other ingredients, Bombay Bramble’s natural flavour profile plays perfectly with a spectrum of companions, from citrus to sweet.
With this versatile gin, you can follow a cocktail recipe, put your own twist on a classic or invent something completely new.
True to its name, Bombay Bramble shines in the modern classic Bramble cocktail. Created in the 1980s by world-renowned bartender Dick Bradsell at the famous Fred’s Club in London, the drink was inspired by Bradsell’s childhood memories of picking juicy blackberries from bramble bushes.
The original Bramble recipe uses London Dry gin and blackberry liqueur, but Bombay Bramble already has the perfect blend of gin and bold berry flavour in one liquid– so this version is much easier for a home bartender to whip up. With no added sugar, it’s a more guilt-free treat also.
Served with crushed ice, the Bombay Bramble cocktail is ideal for spring and summer afternoons under sunny skies.
For perfect spring simplicity, Bombay Bramble can be enjoyed with just tonic, poured over ice and garnished with a squeeze of lemon. If you love a touch of fruit in your G&T, this is your go-to toast for every spring gathering.
For a fruity, fresh take on a sparkling warm-weather favourite, Bombay Bramble co-stars with grapefruit soda, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice in the mouthwatering Bombay Bramble Spritz. Served in a wine glass and garnished with fresh mint and grapefruit, this pink-hued drink is pretty as a picture and as fragrant as a spring bouquet.
